Drayton Old Lodge

A sense of history, a tradition of service

Drayton Old Lodge is a superb example of an Edwardian country manor, set in 10 acres of wooded grounds, just 5 miles from the city of Norwich.

Here, our experienced and professional staff create exceptional events - weddings, parties and celebrations, or business conferences - while re-creating the atmosphere and elegance of a bygone age.

The present Old Lodge may be little more than a century old, but as you drive into the grounds, you pass the ruins of the original, built around 1432 by Sir John Fastolf, the inspiration for Shakespeare's Falstaff.

More than 500 years may have passed since the destruction of Fastolf's building, but like him, we aim to build our success on exceptional service. Our view is simple: it's your wedding, your function, your conference. Our job is simply to work with you, satisfying every wish, and making your event one to remember.
